Four nights dinner, bed and breakfast at the Grange Hotel, Grange over Sands
Day 1 – Once we have collected all passengers from their agreed pick up point we will make our way to the Lake District. We will call at Skipton on the way. This famous market town is surrounded by stunning scenery which makes it the
perfect spot for lunch or to stretch your legs.
Day 2 – This morning we enjoy the scenic views and local wildlife of Lake Windermere with a cruise from Lakeside to Bowness. Sit back, relax and feel at one with nature. This afternoon we make our way to Kendal, home of the famous mint cake. This traditional market town is filled with art galleries, museums, history, culture and great shopping.
Day 3 – Keswick is our destination today. In this quaint market town you’ll find art galleries, boat tours, shops & even a pencil museum. Poets such as Wordsworth gained inspiration for their work in this spectacular town.
Enjoy a spot of lunch surrounded by the scenery the Lake District is renowned for.
Day 4 – Our destination this morning is the privately owned country house Holker Hall & Gardens. Explore the enchanting Hall that lies between the green Lake District Hills and the blue sea. In the gardens you will find 23 acres of magnificent flowers, plants and woodland that provide a tranquil haven for visitors. Once everyone is back on the coach we will make our way to the traditional town of Grange Over Sands. Visit the ornamental gardens, community orchard or enjoy a stroll along the promenade.
Day 5 – Sadly today we must leave the Lake District behind and make our way back to Lincolnshire. We will call at Settle on the way. An ancient picturesque market town full of history and culture make Settle a great place to grab a spot of lunch before we return all passengers to their original boarding points.
