Four nights dinner, bed & breakfast staying at the Mercure Telford Centre Hotel
Day 1 – Once we have collected all passengers from their agreed pick up point we will make our way to Telford. Sat between Birmingham and the welsh borders the Shropshire town is packed with museums, stunning parklands, attractions, restaurants and bars. The hotel is located in the town centre so we only have a short distance to travel.
Day 2 – This morning we make our way to Shrewsbury where we will enjoy a relaxing cruise along the picturesque River Severn loop. After our 40 minute sailing there will be free time to explore the birthplace of Charles Darwin. Shrewsbury is a town full of Tudor charm with half-timbered houses, a castle and even an abbey. The town also has a number of bars and restaurants to keep you refreshed throughout the day.
Day 3 – Following breakfast we visit the Blists Hill Victorian Town Museum. In the open air museum townsfolk dressed in traditional Victorian dress re-enact what life was like in the village of Ironbridge. After plenty of time to explore Blists Hill we make our way to the town of Much Wenlock. The medieval town has close ties the modern Olympics and is home to the remains of a 12th Century Priory.
Day 4 – Today we are full steam ahead for a journey on the Severn Valley Railway, sit back and relax surrounded by the Shropshire countryside as we make our way from Bridgnorth to Kidderminster. Ludlow is our destination this afternoon, with over 500 listed buildings and a castle at its centre it is often referred to as the perfect historic town.
Day 5 –
Sadly today we must leave Shropshire today and make our way back to Lincolnshire. Before we leave Telford there will be a couple of hours this morning for you to visit any of the attractions you missed on the first day. We will return all passengers to their agreed pick up point.
