Four nights dinner, bed & breakfast at the Royal Court Hotel
Day 1 –
Once we have collected all passengers from their agreed pick up point we will make our way to Coventry. We will spend time in Loughborough on the way. The quaint market town in Leicestershire is filled with art deco buildings that now house shops, bars, restaurants and cafes which make it the perfect spot for you to grab some lunch before we continue our journey to the Royal Court Hotel.
Please note the hotel operates a cashless system so will only accept cards at the bar.
Day 2 – Today we head to Moreton in Marsh and Royal Leamington Spa. Tuesday is market day in Moreton in Marsh, this is the largest open air street market in the Cotswolds. The high street is filled with art galleries, antique shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. This afternoon we head to the Regency town of Royal Leamington Spa, where boulevards, grand buildings and award winning parks give the town a sophisticated ambience.
Day 3 – After breakfast today we head out on our optional trip. We will start the day in Stratford upon Avon – the birth place of William Shakespeare where 800 years of history can be seen not just in attractions and museums but also in the buildings themselves. After lunch we will make our way to Warwick. This market town lies adjacent to the River Avon and again is steeped in history dating back all the way back to medieval times. With a castle, church, parks and plenty of refreshment stops it is easy to see why people return to Warwick year after year. This trip is priced at £14pp.
Day 4 – We will take you into the city of Coventry today. You will find a wealth of culture, history, galleries and museums to fill your day.
Day 5 – Sadly today we leave the beautiful scenery of the Cotswolds behind us as we make our way back to Lincolnshire and your original boarding points. We will call at the famous home of the Pork Pie, Melton Mowbray. The town is known as the food capital of Leicestershire and is also home to award winning Stilton Cheese.
