Aberfoyle 5 day break

Four nights dinner, bed & breakfast at the Rob Roy Hotel

Day One – You will be collected from your agreed pick up point and taken, with suitable stops en-route to the warm welcome of the Rob Roy Hotel in Aberfoyle, the base for our four night stay.

Day Two – Today we offer our included excursion to Scotland’s capital city, Edinburgh. Here you may wish to visit the National Scottish Museum which is superb, or take a stroll down Princes Street with its wealth of shops.  You could also visit the Royal Yacht which is moored here within easy reach of the city centre, or have a look at the seat of the Scottish parliament Holyrood.   We will return to the hotel in time for the evening meal.

Day Three – After breakfast today we set off for the start of our first optional day to Glasgow. This vibrant city offers so many attractions including the Kelvingrove Museum and many others. You may wish to enjoy refreshments at Mackintosh at the Willow, a tea room dedicated to Charles Rennie Mackintosh whose architecture can be seen all around Glasgow.  We will return to the hotel in time for the evening meal. The cost of this excursion is £12pp.

Day Four – Today we offer you a second optional trip, to Loch Lomond Shores. While here it may be possible for the driver to arrange a boat cruise for you. Later this afternoon we have a short visit to Dumbarton before we return to the hotel in time for the evening meal.  The cost of this fabulous day is just £12pp.

Day Five – Sadly today we must leave the lovely people at the Rob Roy and the beautiful scenery of the Trossachs behind as we make our way back to Lincolnshire and your original boarding points.
