Seven nights dinner, bed & breakfast at the Babbacombe Hotel

Day 1 – You will be collected from your pick up place as arranged and taken, with suitable stops en-route to the excellent Babbacombe Hotel in lovely Babbacombe Bay, our base for our 7 night stay.   

Day 2 – After breakfast today we set off for a visit to the market town of Totnes. Spend some time here exploring before we continue on to the town of Dartmouth situated on the river Dart where you can spend the afternoon. We will return to the hotel in time for the evening meal.

Day 3 & 4 – We have left some time at leisure for you to discover the delights of Babbacombe. Perhaps take a look at the famous model village or take a wander to Oddicombe beach, however this is quite a climb back to Babbacombe but the Cliff Railway runs 9am to 5pm daily (with a return journey costing roughly £3 per person) is available to bring you back.

Day 5 – After breakfast today we take you for a visit to Buckfast Abbey, afterwards we go the short distance to Newton Abbott where it is market day. We return to the hotel in time for the evening meal.

Day 6 – Today we will set off for a scenic drive to the beautiful coastal town of Teignmouth with its’ lovely Victorian Pier. You can spend the morning here before we set off for another lovely coastal town, this time Dawlish. While here don’t forget to visit the Town Brook and see if you can spot the famous Black Swans, they can often be seen swimming in the gentle stream or nesting on the banks. We return to the hotel in time for the evening meal. 

Day 7 - Today we will take you to the market town of Tavistock for a few hours. Here you will find the ancient Pannier Market which has been in existence since 1105. Next we continue on to the port city of Plymouth. You may wish to visit The Mayflower Steps from where the Pilgrim Fathers set sail for the New World in 1620 or the Marine Aquarium where you can watch the sharks and rays swimming around.

Day 8 - Sadly today we must leave Babbacombe and begin our journey back to Lincolnshire with suitable stops en-route. You will be taken back to your original boarding point.
