Two nights dinner, bed & breakfast at the Doubletree by Hilton Newbury North
Day 1- Once we have collected all passengers from their agreed pick up points we will make our way to the market town of Newbury. Newbury is a vibrant town with a wealth of shops – independent and high street stores, restaurants, fabulous arts & culture.
You will also find countryside walks many of which will take you along the canal. We will continue to the Double Tree by Hilton Newbury North in time to freshen up for the evening meal.
Day 2 – Today we head to the Royal International Air Tattoo as planes from across the globe take to the skies for the largest military air show in the world. Wonder amongst the great machines that will line RAF Fairfield. See the technology behind historic and modern aircrafts up close and personal with interactive displays, talks and demonstrations. Meet the men and women that maintain the aircrafts and keep them flying. Visit the RAF Experience to learn all about the RAF past, present and future. Once your feet are back on the ground we will make our way to the hotel in time for the evening meal.
Day 3 – Today we make our way home en-route we will call at the university city of Oxford. Visit the many attractions on offer including the Carfax Tower (payable locally) for great views over the city, the historic covered market & the wide cobbled streets are lined with shops, great restaurants & bars. Oxford has been the set for both films and TV programmes such as Morse and Harry Potter. We will depart the city mid-afternoon returning all passengers to their original boarding points.
