Tenby & the Gower Peninsular

Four nights dinner, bed and breakfast at the Ivy Bush Royal Hotel

Day 1 – Once we have collected all passengers from their original boarding points we make our way to the Ivy Bush Hotel in Carmarthen. On our way we will call at the city of Derby. Enjoy time to explore the shops, art galleries and historic tourist attractions such as the Gothic Cathedral. There will be plenty of time for a spot of lunch before we continue our journey to the hotel.

Day 2 - This morning we make our way to the Gower Heritage Centre for a guided tour of the 12th Century water powered mill, followed by a scenic drive of an area of outstanding beauty – the Gower Peninsula. We will complete our day with a visit to the gateway of the Peninsula, Mumbles. This small town is located on Swansea Bay with stunning views. We will only have a short stay in the village, just enough time for a stroll along the promenade and visit a couple of the local independent shops.

Day 3 - Today we take to the rails for a journey on the Gwili Heritage Railway. Relax and enjoy the beautiful views from the comfort of a traditional carriage. Once our journey is over there will be an opportunity to ride the miniature railway, visit the museum and the signal box. This afternoon we make our way to Tenby. Known for the 13th century town walls and stretches of sandy shoreline, this popular harbour town has a wealth of history, culture and shopping to keep you entertained.

Day 4 – We have left today free for you to explore Carmarthen at your own pace. The hotel is ideally located in the centre of town and is within easy each of the local amenities. We just ask that you are back at the hotel in time for the evening meal.

Day 5 – We must leave the beauty of Carmarthen behind today and make our way back to Lincolnshire. We will make suitable comfort stops en-route dropping all passengers back to their original boarding points.
